Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)

Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a neurodevelopmental condition affecting attention, impulse control, and activity level. It often begins in childhood and can persist into adulthood.

Symptoms may include:

  • Difficulty focusing or completing tasks

  • Disorganization

  • Forgetfulness

  • Impulsivity

  • Restlessness

ADHD has different presentations (inattentive, hyperactive-impulsive, or combined). Treatment may include education, behavioral strategies, and medication.
