Frequently Asked Questions

Do you see children and adolescents?

Yes. Our team includes clinicians who treat children, teens, and adults.

Do you offer telehealth?

Yes. Telehealth services are available for many patients, particularly established patients, when clinically appropriate.

Do you accept insurance?

Some providers at Still Point Psychiatry are in-network with major insurers such as BCBS, United Healthcare, Cigna, and Aetna. Others are private-pay only. Please confirm with your specific provider and your insurance plan.

What should I expect at the first appointment?

Your first visit is a thoughtful, in-depth conversation focused on understanding your symptoms, history, strengths, and goals. It is a judgment-free space where your story is heard.

Do you provide therapy as well as medication?

Several clinicians integrate supportive or cognitive-based therapy into visits, and some (such as certain psychiatrists and therapists) offer more in-depth psychotherapy. We also collaborate closely with outside therapists.

What if I have an urgent or emergency concern?

We do not provide emergency or crisis services. For emergencies, please call 911, go to the nearest emergency room, or contact the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline by dialing 988.
