Crystal W. Higbe is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who brings deep compassion, clinical insight, and a whole-person mindset to her work with children, teens, and adults.

Crystal began her career in women’s health, working for eleven years as a registered nurse with newborns and postpartum mothers. During this time, she developed a strong passion for women’s mental health, particularly perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, which led her to pursue advanced psychiatric training.

She earned her Master of Science in Nursing with specialization as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Eastern Kentucky University after graduating from Central Carolina Technical College and working as an RN.

Crystal provides psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and brief supportive therapy. She treats a range of psychiatric conditions including anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, perinatal mood and anxiety concerns, and stress-related conditions.

Her approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in helping each patient feel understood while building tools for long-term wellbeing. Crystal is in-network with BCBS, United Healthcare, Cigna, and Aetna.
