Cameron Burch Oswald, PA-C brings more than two decades of medical experience and over eight years of dedicated psychiatric practice. She provides psychiatric evaluation and medication management for patients ages 12 and older, including adolescents and adults.
Originally from Greer, South Carolina, Cameron earned her B.S. in Biology from the University of South Carolina in 1996 and completed her Physician Assistant degree at the Medical University of South Carolina’s College of Health Professions in 1998. She has lived in the Charleston area since that time.
Cameron treats a wide range of mental health conditions, including ADHD, depression, anxiety, OCD, eating disorders, bipolar disorder, and other mood and stress-related conditions. She has a particular clinical interest in anxiety and depression as they relate to chronic medical illness.
In addition to her psychiatric work, Cameron is accredited as an HIV Specialist through the American Academy of HIV Medicine (AAHIVM) and continues to practice Infectious Diseases at the Ralph Johnson VA Hospital in Charleston. She is a member of the South Carolina Association of Physician Assistants (SCAPA) and the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA).
