Dr. Kent primarily treats mood disorders, anxiety disorders, ADHD, PTSD, and substance use-related concerns. She has a special clinical interest in military mental health and pediatric mental health.
Dr. Kent has worked in the mental health field for nearly a decade. After graduating from Villanova University with her BSN, she began her career on inpatient psychiatric units caring for patients with substance use and acute mental health crises. She later worked at a military hospital on an inpatient Active Duty and Family Member psychiatric unit, and subsequently found her passion for pediatric mental health while working on the inpatient child and adolescent psychiatric unit at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC).
During this time, she completed her Doctorate of Nursing in Psychiatric Mental Health at MUSC. She believes that treating mental health concerns early in life can help pave the way for a brighter future.
New patient appointments with Dr. Kent can be requested through the practice’s referral and scheduling process.
